FAQs

Some answers to frequently asked questions can be found here. If you have a question not listed please feel free to give us a call!

Q: Where does Pawsitivity Mobile Grooming roam?

A: We currently focus on serving the pups who call Aurora and Centennial home. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call to inquire about whether your home is within our service area.

Q: How long does a pup pampering take?

A: The duration of our services can vary depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, and special needs. While a short haired chihuahua’s bath may only take 20 minutes, a standard poodle’s full groom may take 4 hours. Please feel free to contact us with details on your pup for a more accurate estimate.

Q: Do you offer any discounts?

A: Yes! We offer military, first responder, senior, and teacher discounts. We also offer our Multi-Pup Discount.

Q: Do you offer treats?

A: We do! We want your best fluffy friend to have a Pawsitive experience when in our care. If that means winning them over with snacks, so be it! While we do use whole, single ingredient treats to avoid any allergic reactions, please still be sure to inform us of any allergies your dog may have.

Q: My dog can be a bit sassy. Do you groom nippy dogs?

A: Absolutely! One of the greatest advantages of our mobile grooming services is that we are able to offer a tranquil and private environment right outside your home, ensuring a calm experience for your dog. This intimate setting allows us to focus on your dog individually, attentively monitoring their stress levels and utilizing comforting techniques throughout the grooming session. We are dedicated to prioritizing your pet’s well-being at all times. In the rare event that a particularly spicy pet requires additional measures, such as an e-collar or muzzle, we will only proceed with your explicit permission. Our utmost concern is to create a safe and relaxing grooming experience for your furry friend.

Q: My dog is matted. Are you going to shave her?

A: We understand that matting can vary in severity, and we offer Gentle Dematting services based on your dog’s individual needs and tolerance. Our experienced groomers carefully consider factors such as the texture and condition of your dog’s coat, the location of the matting, and your dog’s personal preferences. We employ a range of tools and techniques to safely and mindfully attempt to remove mats as quickly and pain-free as possible. However, if your pup exhibits discomfort during brushing or experiences skin irritation from the dematting process, we may need to consider shaving the matted area. Rest assured, any decision to shave will be thoroughly discussed with you prior to using clippers on your dog’s coat. We prioritize open communication and your pet’s well-being throughout the grooming process. Dematting services are added to your total bath or haircut cost at a rate of $1.45/minute of dematting.

Q: Do you groom cats?

A: Pawsitivity Mobile Grooming does not currently offer cat grooming services.

Q: Do you paint nails or do fun fur dye colors?

A: Pawsitivity Mobile Grooming does not currently offer these services.

Q: Can I book my appointment online?

A: Due to the unique nature of mobile grooming, we must account for varying travel times between homes, and therefore cannot use an online scheduling tool. Please call us at 720-310-0043 to schedule your pup’s personal pampering time.

Q: I don’t see my question listed here. What should I do?

A: Please feel free to call us at 720-310-0043 or send an email to MayaA@PawsitivityMobileGrooming.com. We prioritize responsiveness and will reply to messages as soon as possible.
